The OfficeClip calendar can be published on your extranet so that outside users
can view it. This is useful when non-members are invited to OfficeClip
meetings and events. By granting access to the calendar, administrators can
expose the calendar to outside sources such as customers and partners.
-
From the calendar, click Admin on the menu.
-
Click Publish Group Calendar
-
In order for the event name to show up on the external page, check the box
labeled Show Event Name. To enable the external user to be able to
request that an event be added to the calendar, select the checkbox labeled "Enable
request feature and send email to". Use the dropdown box to select the
user you wish to receive the event request email.
-
Copy the entire url in the textbox under the phrase "The published URL is
successfully updated" by clicking within the textbox, pressing Ctrl-A and then
Ctrl-C. This is the URL of the published calendar. It can be
pasted by pressing Ctrl-V.
-
To deactivate the calendar, click Deactivate. This will prevent outside
access to the calendar.
-
After you have changed the settings, including, "Request Email To" or
the "Event Name" status, click Update to save the changes.
-
Click the Back button to return to Calendar Admin.
