The Group bookmarks portlet allows any group member to post a URL of a web page for
the whole group to see. Posted bookmarks can be categorized, and the application
allows users to rank the bookmarks. The bookmarks with the highest rankings
are then displayed in the Group Bookmarks portlet.

To add a bookmark, click the UPDATE button in the Group Bookmarks
portlet. On the bookmark list screen, click Enter New Bookmarks on the menu.

Enter the bookmark title, a description, and URL. To test the URL, click the Test
URL button; if it is entered correctly, the contents of the URL will show in
a popup screen. Select either an existing category or the "New" option and type
in the name of a new category. The bookmark will show when this category is
selected on the main screen. When finished, click SUBMIT to
save the bookmark.

To rank a bookmark, click the Bookmark Ranks menu item. Select a ranking
from the dropdown that corresponds to the site you wish to rank and click Submit. This
can be repeated for each site you wish to rank. The display order (or whether or not
it is displayed at all) will then be determined by weighting influenced by the
rank.
